Data deletion request
You can ask us to delete the personal data Vela holds about you at any time. This page explains what data is covered, how to submit a request, and what to expect after we receive it.
What we delete
- • Your account profile and authentication credentials.
- • Workspace settings, preferences, and connected ad-account tokens you authorized.
- • Performance data, reports, and analyses created from your workspace.
- • Support correspondence tied to your account, unless we are legally required to retain it.
How to request deletion
Email us from the address associated with your Vela account with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Include your full name and workspace name so we can locate your records.
Timeline
Verified deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Backups that include your data are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle, after which no copies remain in our systems.
Exceptions
We may retain limited records — such as invoices and transaction logs — when required by tax, accounting, or other legal obligations. Anything retained for legal reasons is kept only as long as necessary and is not used for any other purpose.
